Mark Ballas would waltz with a man on 'Dancing'

If ballroom pro Mark Ballas could have his pick of any partner on the next season of “Dancing With the Stars,” he’d choose royal in-law Pippa Middleton. But if he can’t have her, he’d be fine with just about any other celebrity — man or woman.

In an interview with PopEater.com, Ballas discussed his feelings about same sex pairs on the dance floor.

"I would be totally cool with it," the two-time champ revealed. "There are other competitions where they have same sex couples. I'd support it.”

According to Ballas, the only concern he’d have if he waltzed alongside a male star is whether or not they could win.

“There is a slight inherent disadvantage,” he warned. “Two girls and two men just can't move like a man and a woman. But you can try."

Last season, Ballas made it to third place in the ballroom bash with his partner and Disney Channel star Chelsea Kane.
