Lisa Rinna may not actually need Depend undergarments (yes, drop the "s"), but that won't stop her from stepping up as spokesperson for the product -- particularly when Depend's parent company was willing to make a nice donation to charity on her behalf.

In the ads, Rinna is seen showing off how sleek they can be beneath form-fitting outfits. Her husband, Harry Hamlin, offers hands-on approval.

"You can be sexy and feel good about yourself and wear this product," she told TODAY's Ann Curry on Friday. "Yes, my husband does feel me up in the longer version (of the ad); happily so, I mean he is my husband."

Rinna doesn't appear embarrassed by any of it, and after all, the company donated $250,000 to Dress for Success after she signed on.

Celebrities, including Jimmy Fallon, are getting on board with the oddness of her lending her name to the product. Fallon tweeted, "Actress Lisa Rinna is the new spokesperson for Depends adult diapers. Yeah, the story wasn't supposed to get out, but it leaked."

So at least everyone is in on the joke, and meanwhile Depend is getting some terrific free publicity. Which made Curry ask whether Rinna would do denture product ads next.

Said Rinna, "I am a woman aging, and we will all age and we will all die in the end, so let's have fun doing it."
