It’s tough to let it go when you never had it in the first place. Just ask Ellen DeGeneres and Kristen Wiig, who attempted to belt out the hit song from Disney's “Frozen” on the “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” Monday despite being clueless about the tune.

The duet came about when both comedians admitted they had been living in a kingdom of isolation concerning the ubiquitous power ballad.

“I’m probably one of the only human beings on this planet that doesn’t know that song," DeGeneres marveled to Wiig.

“I just know that the words 'let it go' are in there,” Wiig said. Then she hedged: “I assume they’re in there.”

Well, now they know: This song is best left to Pearl Jam, overseas children’s choirs and pretty much anyone else
