Jon Hamm has a problem most men would love to have: people all over the world are convinced he has an enormous penis. Headlines like "Jon Hamm's Penis Is Too Big for Clothes" are popping up and he's quite sick of the whole thing. "Most of it's tongue-in-cheek," he tells contributing editor Josh Eells in his first solo Rolling Stone cover story. "But it is a little rude. It just speaks to a broader freedom that people feel like they have -- a prurience."

The story began when certain websites began noticing what appeared to be a rather large bulge in many photos of Hamm. The New York Daily News spoke to an "AMC insider" who said it was creating problems on the set. "The season takes place in the 1960s, where the pants are very tight and leave little to the imagination," the source said. "John's impressive anatomy is so distracting that they politely insisted on underwear."
A Tumblr called "Jon Hamm's Wang" has been posting photos for over two years, but Hamm doesn't see the humor. "They're called 'privates' for a reason," he says. "I'm wearing pants, for f---'s sake. Lay off. I mean, it's not like I'm a f---ing lead miner. There are harder jobs in the world. But when people feel the freedom to create Tumblr accounts about my c---, I feel like that wasn't part of the deal ... But whatever. I guess it's better than being called out for the opposite."
