Gather 'round, kids. Late-night television isn't just for the adults, especially when Jimmy Fallon and The Roots assemble a room full of "Sesame Street" characters to perform that show's theme song on children's instruments.

In the latest "Late Night" singalong involving celebrity guests and unique musical instruments (think: Christina Aguilera and office equipment), Fallon, his band, and the ensemble of Muppets take "sunnnnnny daaaayyyy" to a whole new level. Inside voices, everyone!

To the surprise of no one under 5 years old, The Count gets it all started with a "1 ... 2 ... 1, 2, 3, 4 ..."

Fallon and The Roots are also joined by Big Bird, Elmo, Snuffleupagus, Murray Monster, Grover, Cookie Monster, Zoe and Abby Cadabby. Classroom instruments being played include a Casio keyboard, ukulele, kazoo, toy clarinet, hand clackers, and more.

A minute into the performance, the song you hummed as a kid takes a twist and turns into the one you want to learn as an adult, as Black Thought of The Roots begins to rap. New school!

"Ok, you heard about, through word of mouth, Big Bird is out, he's in the house, he turnin' up, with Snuffleup. They really gettin' their hustle up, because they stick together like Velcro, there Grover go, there's Elmo, and Cookie Monster. Look, he likes to take selfies with his cell phone. They got a homegirl named Abby, her last name is Cadabby, I showed her my report card, she said, 'Not too shabby!' They got all types of cool kids there, it's lots of fun if you live there, but one thing i keep, forgettin' about Sesame Street: How do you get there?"

Once again, we're grateful that the child inside Jimmy Fallon manifests itself in such delightful ways.
