They may be best known for fist-pumping, fighting and boozing their way along the Seaside Heights boardwalk, but the stars of MTV's "Jersey Shore" are serious about rebuilding the beloved attraction in the wake of Superstorm Sandy.

That's why the cast is joining forces with Architecture for Humanity, a nonprofit group specializing in design and construction, for MTV's upcoming benefit "Restore the Shore."

According to information on the network's website, the special will seek contributions towards "the rebuilding and restoration of Seaside Heights."

In a promo, "Shore" star Vinny Guadagnino spoke on behalf of his castmates.

"It's definitely sad to see the place that we made our second home be destroyed like that, but at the same time, we're all going to come together and hopefully rebuild it," he said. "And then, I'm praying that next summer it will be a place we can go back to and party. Now is a good time for everyone to come together and be humanitarian and rebuild."

Other celebrity guests are expected to take part in the fundraising event, but they've yet to be announced.

"Restore the Shore" will air live on Nov. 15 at 11 p.m. ET on MTV.
