Olympic gold medalist Ryan Lochte has made the move from swimming pool to small screen. After first appearing as himself on "30 Rock" and "90210" last year, the swimmer has landed his own reality show.
E! announced Monday that Lochte will be starring in the six-episode docu-series "What Would Ryan Lochte Do?" The program will follow the athlete as he parties, designs sneakers, trains for the 2016 Rio games and looks for love.
"Ryan Lochte captured everyone's attention at the Summer Olympics with his athletic prowess and his utterly unique and unaffected approach to life," Suzanne Kolb, president of E! Entertainment, said in a statement. "He is an incredibly endearing personality who is sexy, entertaining and fun. Watching this show, I believe people will fall into three categories: they want to be him, sleep with him or mother him."
"What Would Ryan Lochte Do?" is set to premiere on E! in April.
