"The person has to be graceful under pressure, have a thick skin and be resourceful in foreign countries, among other things," they said. "You’ll be expected to travel at a moment’s notice and must know how to adjust in each city." One more downside: the assistant might have to do some daily chores. "You have to change diapers, work on little sleep and cook if the butler is away," the source said. But there are some perks to the job. It pays $55,000 to $65,000 a year, and qualified candidates might even get to help dress Lopez for red carpet events and photo shoots, according to the source.
