For the second time in six months, Hugh Jackman has had skin cancer removed, and once again the "X-Men" star is urging his fans to take action to protect themselves.
"Another Basel Cell Carsinoma (sic)," Jackman told his Instagram followers Thursday as he posted a photo of himself with a bandage on his nose. "All out now. Thanks Dr. Albom and Dr. Arian. PLEASE! PLEASE! WEAR SUNSCREEN!"
In a later tweet, the actor said his doctors worked into the night to treat him.
In November, the 45-year-old revealed his first brush with basal cell carcinoma, which affected the same area and required similar treatment. He explained then that it was his wife, actress Deborra-Lee Furness, who pushed him to get help.
"Deb said to get the mark on my nose checked. Boy, was she right!" he wrote when posting a photo to Instagram at the time. "Please don't be foolish like me. Get yourself checked. And USE sunscreen!!!"
