Gene who? Last week, readers couldn't get enough of Kiss bassist Gene Simmons and the sad state of his union. By this week, you had had enough of the depressing stuff and moved on to something a bit lighter.
The winner? Funnyman Jon Stewart!
His appearance on "Fox News Sunday" with Chris Wallace drew a lot of eyeballs, perhaps because he called the the host "insane." To be sure, it was no light conversation. The two sparred about media bias, with Wallace pointing out that Fox viewers were "getting somebody who tells the other side of the story," and Stewart calling them "the most consistently misinformed" viewers.

"I suggest you look at the unedited version online, w here my emotional states don't seem to change so arbitrarily," Stewart said on his show.
Beyond Stewart, readers went nuts for "Toddlers & Tiaras," which is no surprise. The latest outrage? A mom defending having her little daughter waxed for beauty pageants. Also of interest were the end of "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," and NBC getting closer to casting "L&O: SVU's" replacement for departing star Christopher Meloni.
Here's how the stories stacked up:
