Intrigued by the promos for upcoming HBO shows "Girls" and "Veep"? Well, subscribers of the premium network will get to check out the new comedy series on April 15 and April 22, respectively, but non-subscribers won't be left out of all the fun.

The network has announced that the premiere episodes for both shows will be available for free on HBO.com, YouTube, DailyMotion, TV.com and OnDemand the day after they air. The pilot for "Girls" will be available April 16 - May 14, and April 23-May 21 for "Veep."

For those who miss "Sex and the City," "Girls" may be a welcome addition. The comedy, produced by Judd Apatow and creator and star Lena Dunham, follows the lives of a group of 20-something girlfriends in New York. At the heart is Hannah (played by Dunham), a spoiled young wannabe writer who believes she could be the "voice" of her generation -- if only she'd actually write something.

Political comedy "Veep" stars Emmy-winner Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Selina Meyer, who is a former senator turned Vice President of the United States. The show is scripted, but according to HBO, is shot in an improvisational style.

"Girls" premieres at 10:30 p.m. on April 15, and "Veep" at 10 p.m. on April 22.
