This will be the actress' second child with husband Peter Lanfer. The pair are already parents to 2-year-old Micah.

"We can't wait to introduce Micah to his little brother or sister," Drew told People. The baby is due in December.

Drew's character, Kepner, revealed her pregnancy toward the end of season 10, after her and new husband Dr. Jackson Avery's arguments on how to raise their "hypothetical" kids nearly led to a split.

"Grey's Anatomy" kicks off season 11 at 8 p.m., Sept. 25, on ABC.
