How big a deal is it that James Franco and Anne Hathaway are hosting the Oscars? Big enough that at one of the biggest Golden Globes events of the season, the Bulgari-hosted fundraiser to benefit Save the Children and Artists for Peace and Justice, folks were abuzz about how the pair will do when their big night comes along in February.
According to one very well-placed source with the Oscars broadcast, it's Franco that is a bit of a wild card. "No one knows what they are really going to get from him. He's a good actor, but unproven in these situations. Plus, he's a little weird," said the source.
As for Hathaway, she's a sure bet. "She is a true talent. She can act, sing, dance, she's got it all. She's going to be great," the source said.
