The trial of Tyrion Lannister on "Game of Thrones" is no laughing matter, but two new video parodies manage to add some levity to a situation that had the accused kingslayer gnashing his teeth this past Sunday. (Beware of spoilery bits ahead.)

In the criminal justice system of Westeros, kingslaying charges are considered especially heinous. That's why a mashup of Tyrion's trial with "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" is so brilliant. (Particularly when you consider that the murdered King Joffrey is a child of twincest, and that his father-uncle performs a heinous act that would require the "SVU" detectives to investigate.)

The parody of the "SVU" opener, by YouTubers Double Prizes, features the major players (and even royal cat Ser Pounce) from HBO's epic drama, replacing the familiar sepia-toned images of Mariska Hargitay's Detective Benson, Danny Pino's Detective Amaro and the rest of the gang.

Chris Meloni's inimitable and much-missed Detective Elliot Stabler is not to be left out. As Tyrion demands a trial by combat, the video weaves in images of the beloved investigator looking stunned. ADA Casey Novak just looks annoyed (as usual) and Benson appears tight-lipped. The drama!

An alternate ending put together by xerograde on YouTube has a little more fun with Tyrion and why he feels he's really on trial.

"I'm guilty of being a dwarf," Tyrion says. "I've been on trial for that my entire life."

His father, presiding judge Tywin Lannister, chuckles at this assertion and asks if Tyrion really has anything to say in his defense. In the real episode, he delivers a powerful speech. But the new video cuts to actor Peter Dinklage dancing atop the defendant's box while the 1995 hit "I Wish" by rapper Skee Lo" plays over the video.

"I wish I was a little bit taller, I wish I was a baller, I wish I had a girl who looked good, I would call her ... "

The reactions from the "GoT" characters on hand for the trial are spliced in with the dancing to provide a seamless spoof of the dramatic episode.

See if Tyrion will be found guilty of murdering his nephew when "Law & Order: GoT ..." err ... "Game of Thrones" airs Sunday at 9 p.m. on HBO. "SVU" airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. on NBC.
