President George W. Bush's representative said he wanted to stop by "The Tonight Show" one more time before Jay Leno leaves.

Former President George W. Bush will appear on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on Nov. 19, his first visit to the show since his 2010 book tour, NBC announced Tuesday.

He'll be discussing life after the White House. Bush's spokesman Freddy Ford told The Hill, “President Bush is going to be in the area next week so he was happy to accept Jay Leno’s invitation to drop by the show one last time."

Bush's visit next week will mark his fourth appearance on Leno's show.

The 43rd president has not been seen much in public since his 2009 exit from office, but he began raising his profile in July when he urged Congress to reach a "positive resolution" on immigration reform, and appeared with President Barack Obama at a ceremony to remember victims of terrorism.

President Obama last appeared on "The Tonight Show" in August. It was his sixth visit. First Lady Michelle Obama stopped by in 2012.

"The Tonight Show With Jay Leno" airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. on NBC.
