The Disney Channel has released the first teaser for the upcoming "Boy Meets World" spin-off "Girl Meets World," and fans will get to see a new side of high-school sweethearts Cory (Ben Savage) and Topanga (Danielle Fishel).

In a first look at the highly anticipated new show, their daughter Riley (Rowan Blanchard) is caught trying to sneak out of the house with BFF Maya (Sabrina Carpenter). After getting caught, the seventh grader gets a (ridiculously sweet) talking to from the now very grown up Cory and Topanga.

There's not much revealed in the 30-second teaser, but as fans of the original '90s sitcom can see, Cory and Topanga will be there for their kids — much like his parents were on "Boy." It's a theme that the stars wanted to make sure is carried over to the new program. "We want to bring it back with the same heart and integrity and innocence that the first one had," Fishel explained after the spin-off was announced.

Also making a return in "Girl"? Much of the original cast, including William Russ and Betsy Randle as Cory's parents, William Daniels as Mr. Feeney, and Strong.

The cast so far has indulged fans in "Boy" nostalgia, sharing photos of them together.

But perhaps none has garnered as much attention as a shot shared from the set, when the majority of the cast from the original show was taping a holiday-themed episode.

There's no premiere date yet for "Girl Meets World," but it's expected to debut this summer on The Disney Channel.
