The family fights, the oil riches, the classic theme song — “Dallas” is back! Or at least it will be in the summer of 2012, but until then, the very first promo for the upcoming TNT series will have to suffice.

The drama picks up a couple of decades after the original "Dallas" ended in 1991. In other words, J.R. and Bobby Ewing are still invested in their prolonged case of sibling rivalry, but it’s their sons who inherit the full family feud.

Larry Hagman and Patrick Duffy reprise their iconic roles as the battling brothers, and Linda Gray returns as Sue Ellen. As for the next generation, Jess Metcalfe and Josh Henderson, both of “Desperate Housewives” fame, will take on the roles of Christopher and John Ross (aka J.R. III) respectively.
