Last week the world got its first glimpse of 6-year-old pageant princess Alana, aka Honey Boo Boo, outside of her usual "Toddlers & Tiaras" trappings. She, along with her oh-so-quotable family members, focused on their "redneckonize" lifestyle in the premiere of "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo." But for the next episode, it's back to pageants, as the tyke tries to channel her inner Elvis Presley -- whoever that is.
Yes, it seems Honey Boo Boo doesn't know her King of Rock 'n' Roll from her … well, you'll see in this exclusive sneak peek TLC provided to TODAY.com.
As pageant prepper Savannah tried to teach her charge Elvis' main moves, she asked "Do you know who Elvis is?"
"Elvis is Santa Claus' helpers," Alana shot back.
Hmm. Elvis, elves(es) … close enough for a tyke who's likely never seen the man she's supposed to be imitating anyway. Besides, as far as Alana is concerned, she's knows all the important parts.
"During my dance lesson, I was really learning and taking it seriously," she explained. "I was doin' all these moves, the bump and shake and everything!"
And that signature Elvis lip curl just comes naturally for her.
"I think with Savannah's help, I'm going to be Grand Supreme," Alana added eagerly.
