“I felt incredible in my gown, the wedding weekend was perfect and I cannot be happier being a Mrs.!” Anderson tweeted earlier Wednesday. Their wedding guests included several "Biggest Loser" alum.

The couple made their first public appearance as newlyweds at Tuesday night’s “Biggest Loser” finale taping. Seated in the first row of the audience, former contestants and members of the production crew swarmed the couple during commercial, offering congratulations and well wishes. The couple happily showed off their new wedding rings -- engraved with the inscription "I Choose Us" -- to the show’s host, Alison Sweeney.

Later, the newlyweds headed to a Los Angeles hotel for the unofficial "Biggest Loser" alumni reunion to catch up with the former and current contestants of the show. They bailed out early in order to get some sleep before catching a 6 a.m. flight this morning to Vancouver to start their Alaskan cruise honeymoon.

The couple has battled against tragedy to find their happy ending. Last September, Poueu suffered a serious head trauma and other life-threatening injuries after he fell from a 54-foot roof deck in San Francisco. After months of arduous physical therapy, surgeries and recovery, Poueu took his first post-accident steps in December with Anderson by his side. His goal was to be able to dance with his wife at their wedding.

“I'm so grateful to have my happy ending,” Anderson tweeted Tuesday night.

The Poueus aren’t the only "Biggest Loser" alums to hear wedding bells. Season 13’s Joe Messina said “I do” on April 14 in Michigan in front of guests that included most of his castmates, including newly crowned season 13 winner Jeremy Britt. (Messina quit the show two weeks into taping.) His brother, Mike, went on to win the $100,000 at-home prize.

Season eight’s Daniel Wright and Rebecca Meyer are also planning a trip down the aisle. The couple became engaged in November.
