An actor who appeared in the "Harry Potter" and "Star Wars" films was found to have indecently exposed himself to a teenager on a train, the Guardian reports.
Nicholas Read, who played an Ewok in "Return of the Jedi," was convicted of indecent exposure after a 17-year-old reported that he performed a sex act under the cover of a juggler's hat. Read was given a suspended 20-week sentence. The judge opted not to incarcerate Read and instead imposed requirements upon him. The first, that he be supervised by the probation service, and the second requires him to be part of a community sex offender group work program.
Read must also pay a fine, to be put toward the cost of his prosecution. He offense was described as "chilling."
