"Ready for Love" may have lasted only two episodes, but producer Eva Longoria is hoping her romance with one of the men from the show will endure a lot longer.
Longoria recently confirmed to People magazine that she's dating entrepreneur Ernesto Arguello, one of three bachelors who went looking for love on the reality show.
The show featured three men -- Arguello, hospital CEO Ben Patton and Plain White T's band member Tim Lopez -- looking for love among 12 bachelorettes chosen especially for them by three professional matchmakers.
"Ready for Love" ended with Arguello choosing Shandi Finnessy, a former Miss USA, but, like the show itself, their relationship was short lived.
Longoria credits the media with helping to nudge her into a relationship with Arguello.
"I think that's why our relationship is so special – we truly started as friends," Longoria told People. "I guess we have the press to thank for pushing us to see something we didn't see!"
Longoria's relationship with Arguello may not be the only one to come out of the reality matchmaking show. While the relationship between Patton and Angela Zatopek, who became engaged on the show, didn't work out, another one of the show's romances is still going strong. Lopez is still dating his pick, Jenna Reeves, and recently released a song on iTunes that he wrote for his reality TV love.
