'DWTS' results: Did Kellie Pickler and Derek Hough pay the price for judge's tirade?

"Dancing With the Stars" delivered a major shocker Monday when the judges got into a major tiff over Kellie Pickler and Derek Hough's paso doble, and continued the trend on results night.

On Tuesday, the show followed up with two more jaw-droppers: First, soap star Ingo Rademacher, who hovered near the bottom of the leaderboard, and partner Kym Johnson, were announced as the first couple going to the semi-finals.

(Maybe Ingo scored some extra points from this season's "breakout star"? Not only does his adorable son have his own kiddie-car parking spot, but his antics were featured in Tuesday's "Adventures of Peanut" segment.)

But the audience really gasped when top scorers Kellie Pickler and Derek Hough were declared in jeopardy. Did the cloud of controversy surrounding judge Len Goodman's angry rant about their paso doble darken their prospects?

Not a chance.

Of course the country crooner and her three-time "DWTS"-winning partner are in the semi-finals -- along with the season's highest scorers, Zendaya and Val Chmerkovskiy, and Aly Raisman and Mark Ballas. Super Bowl champ Jacoby Jones, who was in jeopardy with partner Karina Smirnoff, will also join them for the ballroom version of the playoffs.

But for "Bachelor" star Sean Lowe and pro partner Peta Murgatroyd, it was the end of the road Tuesday, as the pair were sent packing.

"I have enjoyed every second of it -- I truly am blessed to have taken part in this with all these stars," gushed the self-proclaimed "normal guy from Dallas" after the results were announced. "What an incredible opportunity!"

After his disappointing scores Monday, Sean's elimination wasn't a surprise.

When Derek and Kellie take to the floor next week, they'll be performing the flamenco, the dance fans picked for the couple via Twitter voting. Jacoby will be lindy-hopping with Karina, Ingo and Kym are dancing the Charleston, and Aly and Mark are attempting Afro jazz. (Sean would've had to show off his disco moves if he had advanced.) And hip-hop pro Zendaya will be schooling Val in -- you guessed it -- hip-hop.

No one doubted that Zendaya, Val and pro Gleb Savchenko -- who earned the season's first perfect score Monday with their sensational salsa trio -- would be chosen for Tuesday's encore dance, and they drew even more applause the second time around.

Also making a triumphant return to the dance floor was Jason Derulo, performing on television for the first time since nearly being paralyzed by a neck injury more than a year ago.

Next week will be the viewers' last chance to select the "DWTS" finalists.
