More bad news for the men of Discovery Channel's "The Deadliest Catch."

Law enforcement officials in Homer, Alaska, told gossip site TMZ.com that they received a call shortly before 1 p.m. Tuesday reporting a deceased male at a Best Western hotel. When police arrived, they found Justin Tennison unresponsive on the bed.

Tennison, 34, was a deckhand on the Time Bandit. He is survived by his two children, sister, father and grandparents.

Police told TMZ that when they searched the room, they discovered some marijuana and alcohol in the refrigerator, though it's not known if the items played any role in his death. An autopsy is scheduled for today.

The cable network told The Clicker in a statement, "Discovery Channel is saddened by the passing of Time Bandit crew member Justin Tennison.  We send our sympathies to his entire family and fellow crew members during this most difficult time."

The crew of the vessel also made a post in memory of Tennison on the fan site they administer, Timebandit.tv: "Justin was tough as a bull and was an all-around good hand. The Captains and Crew appreciated his hard work and many contributions this past year. We will miss him terribly and wish his family all the best during this most difficult time."

In November, "Deadliest Catch" vessel Cornelia Marie was searched for drugs after Captain Derek Ray told police that deckhand Jake Harris was abusing prescription meds while at sea. Harris is the son of Captain Phil Harris, who passed away at age 53 after suffering a stroke a year ago.

The show returns for season seven in April.
