David Crosby underwent heart surgery on Feb. 14 and has rescheduled several tour dates, according to a post on the singer's website

The site revealed that Crosby "underwent a cardiac catheterization and angiogram" following a "routine cardiac stress test." The test revealed that his left anterior coronary artery was 90 percent blocked, so stents were implanted to aid in blood flow. He is expected to fully recover.

Crosby, 72, did not have a heart attack, the site noted, but if he had not undergone the procedure his medical state "would have led to one."

"I am very glad that I listened to my doctors and my family," he said in a statement. "It seems I am once again a very lucky man."

Crosby had a liver transplant in 1994, which fellow musician Phil Collins paid for, according to Rolling Stone.

At the urging of his doctors, Crosby postponed several February dates and will now play them from March through July. His scheduled tour with his longtime band Crosby, Stills and Nash is still scheduled to launch on March 4 in Richmond, Va.

"I'm sorry to have to move the dates," said Crosby. "But I promise the music will be good when we do play them."
