• The dads from MTV’s “16 and Pregnant” have had no shortage of brushes with the law. Father of twins Josh Smith was arrested for domestic violence back in November. Recently it was revealed that 18-year-old dad Ryan McElrath had been arrested three times over the course of the last year for assault, felony cocaine possession and a DUI. Now the latest “16 and Pregnant” pop to be accused of bad behavior is last season’s Joshua Drummonds. According to TMZ, the 19-year-old was arrested on Monday for check theft and forgery. • In far less disturbing father news, Justin Halpern, the man behind the grumpy-dad Twitter account that spawned a book and a television series, took to his Tumblr blog to share his father’s reaction to the news that “$#*! My Dad Says” had been canceled. Here’s just a small sampling of their of the oddly sweet exchange:
“Well. F---. Sorry to hear that, son.”
“Eh, it’s okay. It happens. It was crazy I got a show on the air in the first place.”
“Well, I liked it. It was kind of sh--ty at first, but I thought it got a lot better. You know what show I like? Cheers. That was a good show,” he said.
