On Thursday night’s “Chelsea Lately,” host Chelsea Handler tried to play bedroom matchmaker for her diminutive sidekick, Chuy Bravo, and round-table comedian Jen Kirkman. Handler even offered big bucks to make it happen.
“If you have sex with Jen this week, this week I will give you both $50,000,” Handler deadpanned to Bravo over repeated protests from Kirkman.
Funnyman Chris Hardwick thought it was great idea.
“That is what you’re suppose to do when you have a lot of money — become a weird sex puppet master,” he exclaimed. “That is totally what you’re supposed to do!”
When Kirkman wouldn’t budge from her “no way!” position, Handler offered to sweeten the deal by just giving her the whole $100,000. That led to a protest from Chuy, who seemed interested in the cash whether Kirkman was onboard or not.
“That’s not the game. You don’t even understand the game,” Handler shot back. “It’s (about) making her do something she doesn’t want to do. She doesn’t want to have sex with you. Don’t you get it?”
But Chuy suddenly found an ally in Kirkman, who told Handler not to be so mean.
