Jennifer Lawrence wasn't at Sunday night's MTV Movie Awards, but her presence was felt anyway. Not only did she win the best kiss award (sharing the honor with "Silver Linings Playbook" co-star Bradley Cooper), but she was seen in the "Catching Fire" teaser trailer premiere.

"Catching Fire" is the second film in the "Hunger Games" series, and hits theaters Nov. 22. Co-star Liam Hemsworth introduced the teaser later in the awards to much applause.

The second movie takes place after Katniss (Lawrence) and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) have won the Hunger Games, but they're far from safe. As seen in the trailer, President Snow (an evil Donald Sutherland) isn't about to let them live happily ever after.

"She has to be eliminated," he says of Katniss.

Plenty of familiar faces return in the teaser, including former winner Haymitch (Woody Harrelson), bubbly escort Effie Trinket (Elizabeth Banks), Katniss' little sister Prim (Willow Shields), and of course, her childhood love, Gale Hawthoren (Hemsworth).

The past winners of the Hunger Games are now all viewed as a threat to President Snow's evil administration, and they're now all in danger, as the districts of Panem fight to rebel against their murderous government. The odds are not in their favor indeed.
