While Bristol Palin's mother continues to court television deals, Bristol has made the decision that life in the Hollywood spotlight is not for her.
Bristol tells In Touch Weekly that the revelation came in part after she got into a well-publicized fight at the Saddle Ranch in West Hollywood, where a man took issue with her mother's politics. "I wasn’t really into the Hollywood thing," she told ITW. "After that, I just realized that I was over it. I was ready to come home."
Bristol also says that returning to Alaska meant a better lifestyle for her 3-year-old son Tripp, too. "He’s going to be starting preschool soon, so we needed to settle into a routine," she said. "When we’re here [Wasilla], Tripp is outside all the time ... his cheeks are always bright red!”
Mother and son have moved into the apartment under Sarah's TV studio on their property, and it's been a happy transition for the family. "It’s great having Bristol here," Sarah told In Touch. "She makes good decisions, and she’s always thinking long-term about her and Tripp’s future."
As for Levi Johnston, Tripp's father and Bristol's ex, Bristol claims that he's not very involved in Tripp's life, despite their close proximity. "He’s not using his visitation, and he’s not paying his child support," Bristol reports.
