'Big Brother' eviction leads to death threats

When “Big Brother” houseguest Shelly Moore employed some last-minute, game-changing strategy last week and played a big part in giving fan favorite Jeff Schroeder the boot, she couldn’t have known just how badly some “Big Brother” fans would react.

According to TMZ, disgruntled fans have called Moore’s family threatening violence and even death, with some of the warnings allegedly aimed at Moore’s 8-year-old daughter. Sources also revealed that the reality TV star’s place of work has also received calls urging her employer to fire her.

On Saturday, reality TV-centric website Yakkity Yaks revealed how far some fans had already gone, pointing out threats and personal contact infomation making the rounds on a Facebook page called, “America Hates Shelly Moore.” That page currently has over 7,600 “likes.”

After learning about the passionate and downright scary reaction Schroeder's elimination sparked, "Big Brother" executive producer Allison Grodner addressed the issue on Twitter.

“No matter how much you dislike an HG, this is wrong!” Grodner tweeted . “True BB fans do not try to ruin lives. Please stop!”
