Betty White has had a career for the record books, and finally, it’s getting officially acknowledged: The 2014 edition of the "Guinness World Records" book will now list the 91-year-old comedian and actress as the record-holder for Longest TV Career for an Entertainer (Female).

“I was astounded when they called to tell me,” she told Guinness in an interview. “’Who? Me!?!’ It’s such an honor.”

Guinness says the record is attributed to her 74 years of work in the industry, from her 1939 debut to the present day. White is known for appearing in such legendary shows as “The Mary Tyler Moore Show” and “The Golden Girls,” and in recent years has had a resurgence in popularity with her series “Hot in Cleveland.”

She said that if she could have had any other profession aside from acting, she’d have picked "zookeeper." But, she added, "I have no regrets at all. None. I consider myself to be the luckiest old broad on two feet."

White was in good company among other record holders from the world of pop culture this year; AMC's "Breaking Bad" will be listed in the new "Guinness" as the Highest-Rated TV Series, thanks to a metascore of 99 out of 100 on MetaCritic.com.

Taylor Swift earned the Fastest-Selling Digital Single record for "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together," which hit No. 1 on the iTunes singles sales chart less than an hour after it was released in Aug. 2012. She has another record for being the First Solo Female With Two Million-Selling Weeks on the U.S. Album Charts.

One Direction also earned two records: One for Highest Debut by a U.K. Band on the U.S. Singles Chart (with "Live While We're Young") and one for Most Twitter Followers for a Pop Group (14.9 million when last checked).

Rihanna scored a record for Most Liked Person on Facebook (75+ million at press time); Justin Bieber earned records for Youngest Solo Artist to Have Five U.S. No. 1 Albums Before His 19th Birthday and First Musician With a Music Channel Viewed 3 Billion Times. PSY earned a record for Most Viewed Video Online in 24 Hours for "Gentleman." "Gangnam Style" has Most Liked Video Online with over 7.5 million "likes."
