Benedict Cumberbatch photobombing U2 is better with 'Jaws' music

While everyone seems to be making their uninvited way into other people's photos these days, it's rare to actually see a celebrity photobomb unfold in the wild. When video of such an occurrence is then perfectly set to a piece of familiar music, well, we all win.

Benedict Cumberbatch pulled off the bombing on the red carpet at the Oscars earlier this month. The "Sherlock" star was tracked on camera like a shark in a tux, moving through a sea of people as he spotted his prey several feet away. He struck by leaping in the air twice behind the backs of U2 members Bono, Adam Clayton, Larry Mullen Jr. and The Edge as they posed for photographs.

YouTuber Max Clendaniel set the short and now viral video to the iconic "Jaws" theme music, and each of Cumberbatch's darts into the air comes off like a great white strike. Although the leaping motion is similar, this is not to be confused with #whaling

Sure enough, a still photograph from Oscar night proves the British actor was successful in his attack.
