Barbra Streisand joined Instagram on Wednesday with the same style with which the Emmy-Grammy-Oscar-Tony winner does everything.
The singer, 72, looks perfectly coiffed and styled as she poses outdoors in a comfortable wicker chair, stroking the head of her Coton de Tuléar dog, Samantha.
Hundreds of fans rushed to like the photo and some left compliments — both for Samantha and her owner. "You look FABULOUS!!! Samantha is adorable!" wrote one.
Streisand has raved about her love for Samantha before, telling the London Guardian that she and husband James Brolin take the pooch on road trips.
"She’s like the daughter I never had," Streisand said of Samantha. "She speaks English. She understands English, I swear to God."
This is not the first time Streisand has posed with a pet pooch. In 1966, when she was just 23, she posed with Sadie, her miniature French poodle, on the cover of Life Magazine. Sadie also appeared with Streisand on the cover of her 1978 album, "Songbird." As Charlie Brown once said, happiness, at least for Streisand, is a warm puppy.
