“16 and Pregnant” mom Ebony Jackson-Rendon is working hard to get her life back on track after the Division of Children and Family Services of Akansas removed her 2-year-old daughter, Jocelyn, from the “deplorable living conditions” of the family home in September.

Just after the incident, which also involved the arrest of Jackson-Rendon and husband Josh Rendon on charges endangering the welfare of a minor, possession of drug paraphernalia and maintaining a drug premise, the young mom entered rehab — for just one week. Now, according to a Star magazine report, via Radar Online, she’s back in treatment in an effort to put her messy past behind her and look ahead to a clean future.

“Her state of mind is good," her father, Anthony Jackson Sr., told the magazine. "She has her ups and downs.”

Jackson, who wasn’t satisfied with his daughter’s first rehab stay, believes ongoing treatment is the right answer to her problems.

“They put her on medication and released her (the first time),” he explained. “And I didn’t feel you can give her help in a week’s time and then she’s better.”

Shortly after her arrest, Jackson-Rendon explained that she hadn’t “been able to be the wife (or) mom” she needed to be due to depression.

Do you believe the young mother can get her life back on track and provide a good home for her daughter one day? Share your thoughts on our Facebook page.
