Fans of the racy trilogy "50 Shades of Grey" may have reason to celebrate: Author E.L. James says she's written a new book.
Whether they'll ever get to read it, however, is still to be determined.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly for the Nov. 22 issue, James revealed she's written another book but isn't sure when — if ever — it will be published.
"What I’d really like to be doing is sitting down in a little room writing my next book," she said, after talking about the craziness surrounding the upcoming film version of her bestselling novel. "I miss it so much."
James then clarified that, in fact, she's already finished. "I've written another book," she said, though as for whether she'll publish it soon, she could only say, "I don't know."
She remained tight-lipped on the plot as well, though she confirmed the book does include sex.
"It's very different than 'Fifty,'" she said.
She also told the magazine that she's "terrified" about the upcoming film version of "50 Shades," and said that in real life, she's very shy and still reeling from all the attention.
"You don't expect this kind of success," she said. "Even now it floors me."
