After 24 hours to digest the Zach Randolph trade, I'm still not impressed with it. From a talent perspective, the Knicks were a clear winner - an outright home run. Frye's value has probably peaked, and there were only a...

Anderson Hernandez will replace the injured Easley on the roster. Anderson has pinch hit twice, getting one hit and a strikeout. He scored in a pinch running appearance as well. He has yet to start a game for the Mets this season.Easley most likely has a Grade 3 Sprain, which will sideline him for the season. I understand Hernandez gives us speed,

Matt Cerrone at Metsblog is reporting that the Conine deal is official. The Mets gave up minor leaguers Sean Henry and Jose Castro, both from Single A St Lucie, an outfielder and short stop respectively. Can't argue this deal too much. We get a righty off the bench who has playoff experience. And we gave up...very little, much like the Castillo
