| According to this announcement, Lenovo will now also ship Linux on their notebooks. Since OpenOffice.org is included in the Linux distro, OpenOffice.org will now be shipping (directly or indirectly via Linux) on computers from Dell, Lenovo and Everex. Cool! |

| OpenOffice.org 2.3 just got released. The community press release can be found here, and the release notes are available from here. Probably the most important new features are the new Chart tool, and the new Sun Report Designer extension. If you want to develop your own extensions, check out the OpenOffice.org API Plugin for NetBeans. |
