  and sympathetic, especially Batou, Togusa and Motoko. The Laughing Man is incredibly fleshed out and has terrific development. I’ve got no complaints as to any development in the movie. Laughing Man has a great story and fantastic pacing. Its conveyance of heavy concepts never slowed down the delivery, except at the end of the movie.
