Ashanti joined Kathie Lee and Hoda on Thursday to chat about her role on the upcoming season of Lifetime's "Army Wives," as well as the release of her upcoming album, and the singer/actress was dressed for the cool summer day in a long-sleeved dress.

"Michael Costello is a brand-new designer and he's amazing. He actually did all the dresses in my video," Ashanti told TODAY.com. "The earrings are by Simone Smith, who is LL Cool J's wife. She has a brand new line and a lot of the proceeds go to cancer research because she had cancer and overcame it."
Ashanti said she's always loved the looks of celebs like Jennifer Lopez, Halle Berry and Sarah Jessica Parker, but that her personal style has always been simply what she's felt is right for her.
"Laruicci, who made the bracelet, is one of my favorite designers ever," she added about her accessory. "They have the most awesome jewelry, I love it."
