President's News Conference
The President held a news conference today before heading up to Kennebunkport, Maine for a long weekend. In wake of the Minneapolis bridge collapse, President Bush made clear that there would not be an increase in the national gas tax. Kelly O'Donnell will have a report for us tomorrow.
Hope for Miners
The CEO of Murray Energy Corp., the parent company of Crandall Canyon Mine, said today the rescue crews may reach the six stranded miners with a 2 1/2 inch drill hole. The hole would allow the rescuers to get the miners food, water and air. Ron Mott will have more tomorrow.
