Tina Fey, who has shown much love to the fourth hour in the past, shared a bit of the wisdom of Kathie Lee while co-presenting the award for best actor in a drama series with "The Office" star John Krasinski at the Screen Actors Guild awards.

Offering a little inspiration for aspiring thespians, John noted, "I believe it was director Sidney Lumet who gave this advice to actors: Know thyself."

Added Tina, "And I believe it was the TODAY show's fourth hour co-host Kathie Lee Gifford who said, 'If drag queens love you, you'll have the longest career in the world. They know phony, and they know real.'" That one's free, Monster.com.

The Kathie Lee-ism actually comes from an interview the girls did with the Village Voice last year, but you can also look for it on the inevitable thought-a-day calendar, "To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything, Kathie Lee."

Julieanne Smolinski is a TODAY.com contributor. She craves the approval of female impersonators.
