In his speech at the ceremony dedicating his presidential library in Dallas on Thursday, former president and proud papa George W. Bush took a moment to plug daughter Jenna Bush Hager’s work on TODAY.

“If you don’t have anything to do in the morning, tune into the TODAY show,’’ Bush said during his speech. “Jenna’s a correspondent.”

Tears streamed down the face of a beaming Bush Hager in the crowd as her dad then fired off a zinger at the media.

“Jenna is a correspondent, thereby continuing the warm relations the Bush family has with the national press,’’ Bush said.

Jenna recently made Bush and wife Laura grandparents for the first time when she gave birth to daughter Mila on April 13.

The George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum, a $250 million complex that sits on 23 acres of the Southern Methodist University campus in Dallas, opened Thursday. President Obama and former presidents Bill Clinton, George H.W. Bush, as well as foreign dignitaries.
