Now that Seth Meyers is settling in as the host of "Late Night," the powers that be at NBC have decided it’s time for him to branch out and get to know the rest of the family. With that in mind, on Thursday "Late Night" paired Meyers with Weekend TODAY anchor Lester Holt in a sketch dubbed “Forced Friendship with Seth & Lester.”
As serious journalist Lester interacted with lighthearted host Seth, he played his role as a “mouthpiece of truth in a storm of madness and injustice” to the hilt, insisting on staying focused and eating nothing but neutral foods to keep him "unbiased on the air.”
How Lester was able to keep a straight face throughout is a testament to his conviction as a newsman. Enjoy!
