While everyone else was attempting to stay cool over this hot weekend, TODAY's Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb left the city and went to the beach -- Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, to be precise.
The ladies, who were there for a book signing at Browse About Books, also participated in the town's famous drag queen volleyball game.
