The "Tonight Show" couch turned into a hot seat for Hoda Wednesday.
When the ladies of the Fourth Hour visited Jay Leno's show, the late-night host took the opportunity to grill Hoda about her love life. Jay wanted to know more about her new mystery guy and her crush on Blake Shelton — who happened to be sharing the couch with Hoda and Kathie Lee.
"I am dating a really nice guy," Hoda revealed. "He's in the finance industry ... It's a new thing, so it's a little weird. He hasn't met my mom yet, my brother, my sister."
He has met Kathie Lee and Frank, though. KLG told Leno how during a recent dinner, her husband — who, she says jokingly, has no filter — asked the new couple if they were going to have kids soon.
"I almost died," Hoda said.
Hoda also admitted that her new guy doesn't tune in to the Fourth Hour of TODAY, and that he doesn't know about the other man in her life — Blake Shelton.
"He doesn't watch our show. He doesn't know about you," she told Blake. (Full disclosure: Shelton is happily married to fellow country star Miranda Lambert.)
"How can he not watch your show? That is an Emmy-winning show," Blake joked.
After interrogating Hoda about the new man in her life, Jay wanted to know just how serious her feelings for Blake are. "Is this crush for real?" he asked.
"Yes, this is a real authentic crush," Hoda admitted.
Holding up People magazine, Leno asked Hoda to choose between Blake and the magazine's pick for Sexiest Man Alive — Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine, who is Shelton's fellow judge on "The Voice."
There was no hesitation for Hoda; it was Blake all the way. "Blake was robbed," she said referring to the Sexiest Man Alive title.
Before the ladies visited Jay Leno's couch, Hoda shared some great behind-the-scenes photos.
