Video: A new Business Insider story says that using “so” at the start of a sentence can undermine your credibility.

It came up during a TODAY's Take chat about a report that starting the sentence with the word "so" undermines your credibility. 

Tamron, Willie, Natalie and Al tried other overused words, such as "really," "literally," and "like," to prove their point. 

Then Tamron joked, "18-year-olds across America are now looking at us like 'what's wrong with them?'"

That's when Al fired back with a smirk: 

"Yeah, a lot of 18-year-olds are watching us right now."
