Happy birthday, Savannah Guthrie!
It's Savannah's birthday!
TODAY's klutziest co-anchor is marking the big 4-2 today. Naturally, she started it by sharing this adorable throwback photo on Facebook.
And in true TODAY fashion, Savannah's co-anchors had a mini celebration for her — live on the air. During today's trending segment, they wished her happy birthday and celebrated her milestone with a Willard Scott twist:

"I'm 42 chronologically, but I'm still emotionally 14," Savannah said on TODAY.
Her 42nd year has been a big one for Savannah (she got engaged), so her co-anchors wanted to give her multiple presents — some socks in case someone gets cold feet (not going to happen), books on planning a wedding, and a cake topper. But the best gift was a fire extinguisher, because Savannah wants to explore her cooking skills in the new year, and... well, accidents happen.
And of course no birthday is complete without a cake. Savannah's favorite dessert, cheesecake, was brought in by her fiance, Mike Feldman.
"Third choice," Mike joked about being the one to deliver the cake and gifts to Savannah. (Apparently James Franco and Eric Bana were both unavailable.)
However, one of Savannah's favorite musicians was available to help celebrate, albeit virtually. John Taylor of the band Duran Duran sent her a video from the English countryside, wishing her lots of love.
