Sting's wife Trudie Styler met Frank Gifford last Thursday, and apparently, even women married to sexy British rock stars with abs like rows of crumpets are not immune to Frank's charms.
Hoda wanted to know what Frank thought of the playoff games, but Kathie Lee said that Frank had bigger things on his mind than sports. Namely, the fact that Sting's wife is way into him.
Trudie stopped by 1A last week to show off her yoga skills and her latest DVD. This also happened to be the same time when Frank's mother-in-law, Joanie, filled in for Hoda, who was out on jury duty and unaware that romance was possibly blossoming in the studio. Maybe Hoda can use some of her juror skills to determine the Case of the Missing Frank.
Here's what we know went down:
- Trudie arrived dressed in "adorable yoga clothes."
- Frank, Kathie Lee, Joanie and Trudie bumped into each other in the kitchen.
- Kathie Lee took Joanie downstairs for some birthday cake.
- Frank showed up fifteen minutes later.
- Trudie gushed to Kathie Lee about how hot Frank is.
"Interesting," Kathie Lee said, voicing her suspicions in a pretty amazing impression of Trudie's flirtin' voice. "Oh my GOD your husband is GOOOOOH-GEOUS.") Uh oh, Trudie. Don't don't stand / don't stand so close to Frank.
Where did the two of them go? What went on in those missing fifteen minutes? What kind of cake did Joanie have, and was it delicious?
We're certain Frank and Trudie just spent the quarter-hour in question to talking about football, "Synchronicity" and their mutual love of the rainforest. But, as Kathie Lee noted, "When somebody else finds your guy attractive, it's a bit of a turn on." Especially when that person has a yoga body and is married to Sting.
