TODAY looks back: Bryant Gumbel, Al Roker anchor from snowdrift in 1996

The blizzard of 1996 didn't stop Bryant Gumbel and Al Roker from anchoring TODAY — from a snowdrift on Rockefeller Plaza.

The nor'easter dropped feet of snow on New York City and paralyzed much of the Northeast for days. As you can see, Al and Bryant didn't mind. (Note the snowballs!)
