I can't think of a better way to kick off a new year than with a new wonderful animal. And in this month's installment of our special series "Bow To Wow," we have got great pooches for you! Watch the video

First up there is Sir Lance Alot, a big, beautiful black standard poodle mix with a heart as big as he is! Next, we have Bradford: same color, same wonderful disposition, but a much smaller package of love. Then there is mellow Miles, an adorable year-and-a-half old Yorkie mix who loves to cuddle and give big kisses. And finally, we have a fabulous female named Paisley: a beautiful poodle mix, who is so affectionate despite having been abandoned in a building.

All of these dogs are from Animal Care and Control in New York City and are wonderful examples of the incredible animals you can find in your local shelters. And when you rescue one, they know you saved them, and they thank you everyday with their heart and souls. Can you think of a better way to begin 2010?
