I wanted to shed light on some of this fall's most anticipated designer collaborations and where you can pick up limited-edition pieces at many of your favorite retail stores.

Lanvin for H&M

The French fashion house, famous for feminine pieces that boast a bit of an edge, has teamed up with H&M to create a line true to their aesthetic.

While the collection offers everything from lovely dresses to lipstick, I flipped for the pumps that feature extraordinary details from bows to bling and the fun baubles -- they will add a statement to anything! A testament to its bespectacled artistic director, Alber Elbaz, you can even pick up a pair of thick-square frames among the ornate, playful accessories offered.

All items are packaged in pretty "Lanvin http://www.hm.com/us/#/startns/)

William Rast for Target

Unlike shorter-lived celebrity clothing lines, Justin Timberlake's William Rast has found success in large part because of the brand's attention to detail and quality control -- two things you want when it comes to investing in your wardrobe.

I've been a fan of their tastefully distressed denim since the line was founded in 2006, and now they are partnering with Target to launch a collection of men's and women's apparel including jeans, leather jackets and outerwear.

Starting Dec. 19, 2010, and lasting through Jan. 22, 2011, the collection will be available in most store locations and online. ($16.99 - $199.99; Target.com)

+J for UNIQLO

Known for her minimal, well-designed clothing, Jil Sander's designs are inherently wearable to begin with -- offering them in larger quantities and lower price-points is something to get excited about.

UNIQLO is quite possibly her perfect partner. The international chain is a one-stop shop for traditional basics, and the +J collection offers simple, structured pieces with that special something extra.

From chic blazers and sweaters to smart outerwear items -- including a pea coat lined with down -- the collaboration has a subtle, futuristic appeal in manageable colors like grays, black and navy ($15.90 - $229.90; http://www.uniqlo.com/plusj/us/).
